What a treat! Excellent fish tacos, perfect chips and great green salsa. Ceviche out of this world! Had a taste of the beef fajita too...WOW!!! Went back with a large group and they handled it very well. No complaints!

Great place everything was delicious I order the lunch special the seafood enchiladas were really good. My husband order the guacamole and ceviche we will definitely come back!

Great margarita and beer spot after a long day at the beach. Nice spot to sit outside...in the shade. Food was great as well. Took a family of 7, and everyone loved each choice in selection. I recommend the tamales and enchiladas.

Hands down the most tender fajita meat I've ever Had! We stopped in on our way to a show and were worried about the time. Our waitress, Myra made sure we were out in plenty of time. The GM personally checked to make sure all was satisfactory. Wonderful new place! Give it a try

Yowza! This is a great place! You gotta try the Grande Queso Burrito with carnitas--super yummy. The wait staff were really good. Our waiter even went to the restaurant next door to get chicken strips for our youngster because they weren't on the menu here. Now that's great service!

Wow!! The beef fajitas are some of the best I have eaten. Great chips and cilantro sauce as well. Overall chill island type atmosphere with outdoor seating available to enjoy some of those breezy summer evenings.

Best Mexican food on the Island, hands down. We had the beef fajitas and they were delicious! Living in Houston there is no shortage of Mexican restaurants but we can honestly say these were the best we've ever eaten. Next time we come back to Galveston, we'll definitely eat here again.

Great food, great service. Also a great location on a corner in the Strand district. We were here on St. Patty's Night and has great fun watching people headed to the bars outside. The waiter and main hostess checked on us several times. We will be back!

I really wanted some Mexican food last night so we decided to give Taquilo's a try. The green sauce was yummy and the margarita was good, but the beef fajitas are where it's at. I wish I'd had more room left for the sopapillas after dinner, they were so good!

My hubby and I went in for a quick bite to eat. We ordered the Shrimp Besos from the appetizer side of the menu (it was a quick meal)and we were not disappointed. We each had a frozen house margarita that was great. We loving coming here. Can't wait to go back!

FANTASTIC customer service and solid Tex Mex. large servings- they never let your glass get low, and they are one of the friendliest places I've been to, EVER. Location is great, too- just a couple blocks from The Strand. Would come back.

Love this place I've been there 3 times and very consistent! Love the chicken flautas I highly recommend! The workers are very nice and polite great customer service. Great place to eat and drink in the strand.

This was a great place to eat! Had one of the best chips and queso I have ever had! The guacamole was made fresh right then. Salsa was great. Son had fish taco which he said was terrific. I had vegetable fajitas. They were amazing. Love the atmosphere.

Excellent! Everything we had was wonderful. Huge plates. Everything had a bit of spice but not too overpowering. The salsa is warm and delish and they also had a ranch guacamole dip. I'd come again when visiting Galveston. Great choice.

Everything here is as authentic as you can get. From the hand made tortillas to the meat being marinated overnight. The service, drinks, food... everything is to die for! If you're in the area, you need to come eat here!

Omg. The chips and dip. The beef fajita tacos (that I could put a whole stem of cilantro in!). The mango margarita. The refried beans even!! So happy with my meal. Also - authentic atmosphere. Feels like I'm in Mexico. And the tres leches. Wow. Fantastic experience overall!

Had dinner in Taquilo's and it could not have been bettered. Lovely service and welcome, excellent beef fajitas with perfect, light tortillas and very tasty refrained beans. Deserves a full five stars.

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the moody mansion... the food was delicious (the verde salsa was a hit!) and the service and wait staff was phenomenal!! Worth the time and the stop!
